Because I’ve always been a writer at heart, it was a thrill to work with and provide scripting for native Detroit comedians Tim Allen and David Alan Grier as the pair led a live, star-studded celebration of Detroit’s 300th Birthday in front of approximately 1.5 million citizens and visitors. Watching concert headliner Stevie Wonder perform from my perch just off-stage wasn’t too shabby either.
